Our programme

The CooL programme is one of the 4 recognised GLIs delivered by a single professional: the lifestyle coach. Together with the participants, the lifestyle coach focuses on gradually improving lifestyle habits in order to achieve a sustainable change in lifestyle. The ultimate aim of all this is to bring about weight loss, improve physical fitness, achieve health gains and improve quality of life.
The participant's current lifestyle is the starting point of the CooL programme. The participant is in charge here. With support from the lifestyle coach, they set their own personal goals and link these to corresponding actions relating to behavioural change, whereby unhealthy habits are identified and replaced with healthier alternatives. Throughout the programme, these actions are monitored and adjusted where necessary. Once a goal has been achieved, new actions are formulated so that the participant gradually moves towards healthier behaviour. Attention is also paid to relapse, so participants understand that this is part of the change process. Participants learn to recognise relapse and how to turn it around.
